AE 481/482 Reflection

This Penn State Senior Thesis was an opportunity to demonstrate the education and experience gathered over the last 5 years studying Architectural Engineering. Over the course of the 2015-2016 academic year, the State College Area High School was analyzed in order to find areas in which the construction process, various systems, and key components (such as budget and schedule) could be optimized in a way that would better the team, the owner, and the  construction industry. The Archtectural Engineering Thesis makes use of technical skills, communication skills, and problem solving that have been taught to students in previous years and brings it all together in one, year long project to prepare each student for their career ahead.

CPEP Reflection

The CPEP website was a great way to easily post all of the information and assignments over the course of the thesis project.  It is a unique way to post information that is easily accessable by all of the advisors as well as professionals in the industry who want to keep track of potential future employees. Prior to this website, I had no experience with web design, but it was a great opportunity and learning experience.
