Student Bio

   Bryce Burkentine is currently in his 5th year of study in Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State University. In May 2016 , he will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree, with a focus in construction management. Bryce is a member of a number of professional organizations including the Penn State Chapter of Architectural Engineering Institute (Student Society of Architectural Engineering), National Home Builders Association, Blue and White Society.

 

    During the summers of 2013 and 2014 Bryce participated in construction management internships with Clark Builders Group. These experiences provided him with insight on how important organization and communication are in the work field. Bryce had the opportunity to study architecture abroad in Rome, Italy his junior summer. This experience provided him valuable insight into different cultures. This past summer Bryce and his brother Bryan managed two spec homes. This really taught him how important coordination and communication is for a successful completion of a project.

 

    Outside of academics Bryce is a certified Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Homesale Services for the past 2 years, and belongs to the National Association of Realtors. He has been a member of THON for the past 3 years as a committee member and a captain. Bryce enjoys the outdoors, snowboarding, kayaking, and traveling.
